Parents, if your family lives in any of the following situations:
In a shelter, motel, vehicle, or campground; On the street; In an abandoned building, trailer, or other inadequate accommodations, or Doubled up with friends or relatives due to economic hardship, such as loss of housing or income; then your preschool- and school-aged children have certain rights or protections under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Act.

The Hawaii State Board of Education established a Seal of Biliteracy (Policy 105.15 Attachment A) to be awarded upon graduation to students who demonstrate a high proficiency in either of the State’s two official languages and at least one additional language.
To enhance our existing procedures, Leilehua High School is introducing a new, more efficient student absence reporting system called SafeArrival. Early releases for the day, will be processed through the Registrar's office.
