2016 Scholastic Art Award Winners
Leilehua once again emerged as the top high school in the state at the 2016 Hawaii Regional Scholastic Art Competition with a total of 51 awards.  Winning artwork will be exhibited at the Hawaii State Art Museum starting in mid February.  Congratulations to all our student artists for another great showing.

Congratulations to Carina Kusaka!

Carina was selected as a 2015 National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Career Development Event Finalist and FFA Convention Delegate. She is one of six students traveling to the 2015 FFA National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky to represent the state of Hawaii. The Convention will be held from October 25-31, 2015. Carina is part of our Agricultural Career Pathway, currently taking the Environment Resource Management course with Mrs. Tichepco.

Anterrio represented Leilehua High School and the State of Hawaii at the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders in Boston, Massachusetts. He received an Award of Excellence, certifying his successful completion of the Congress where he collaborated with some of the greatest living minds in science and technology.

Congratulations to Paulina Reyes!

Leilehua High School would like to recognize senior Paulina Reyes for her outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). She was one of the top national performers on the PSAT/NMSQT, which shows exceptional academic promise. Congratulations Paulina!

Ms. Ishikawa 2015 HSFCU Grant Winner

Congratulations to Ms. Ishikawa for being selected as one of the winners of  the Hawaii State Federal Credit Union Investing in Education Grant Program 2015. Ms. Ishikawa will be using the grant to purchase books for her AP English Class.

His artwork was selected by the VSA International Art Program for Children With Disabilities.  His drawing entitled "Symphony Rift" will be displayed at an exhibition at the U.S. Department of Education building in Washington D.C. in November.
